Man are you on target!!!

Friday is the PERFECT day to assess how the week has gone; what actionables lie ahead, what's

over the horizon, et al. It's a great time to Brainstorm, to think Strategically and Action Tactically

in the days, weeks and months to come. It's a more relaxed day, when the opportunity to think

more creatively can and usually does occur. People are tired; some of their defenses are down

and they can actually take the risk to think and possibly speak aloud about the kinds of things that

can more greatly empower their ability to function and achieve in their environment.

Smart man you are, Joe! Have a good weekend. :-)

I wonder if some of the need for contact with the financial advisor is more for reassurance and maintaining connection and keeping tabs on their financial situation, rather than an actual need to have a minor question answered, etc.? One of the services I offer to financial advisors when they partner with me is to take some of the non-financial burden from them when clients just "need to talk", as well as fear management regarding unreasonable and unnecessary concerns about the safety of their investments. You might assess this with clients before taking your valuable time to "hand hold" and reassure, when that might be more effectively referred to someone like me for handling with the client!

Do you first offer to address it over the phone? Before setting any service appointment always ask about the agenda, if it is simple just say;"I can schedule to come out and see you in a week or so when I have an opening, or we can handle it in about 5 or 10 minutes over the phone. What do you want to do?"

Excellent Tutorial.

Big problem I find today is clients who want you to come to their home or business to discuss minor issues. Great time waster.

Any suggestions?
